A former managing director at International Technologies and Finance, a New York venture capital firm, Jennifer started her own technology development and private equity consulting business, Bawden Capital. Currently she spends most of her time building Innovative American Technology, (IAT) a designated Department of Homeland Security Anti-Terrorism Technology. IAT is a next generation sensor company implementing advanced Chemical, Biological, Radiation, Nuclear and Explosives sensors in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy, Lockheed Martin UNISYS and Sanmina-SCI. She is also active on the Advisory board of Neogenix Oncology and a Senior Advisor to 1st U.S. Capital, a Private Equity Merchant bank. Jennifer's
solid network of relationships with top-tier investment
bankers, venture capitalists, angel investors, and fortune 500 company
executives enables her to provide a host of advisory services and
introductions leading to capital infusion and strategic partnerships for
a number of early and mid-stage rapid growth technology driven
businesses. Her unique exposure and close relationships with accredited
investors, small cap funds, investment banks, research analysts and
media leaders forms her “Golden Rolodex.” At
Bawden Capital, our goal is to
create long-term value by helping entrepreneurs build emerging and disruptive technology companies in
their formative stages so that they
deliver on their fundamentals. Working closely with management, we
develop critical industry relationships, provide access to vast
information resources and a network of contacts, a proven catalyst for
the growth of developing organizations. Bawden Capital has
generated and continues to provide business strategy, development ideas,
strategic partnering, hands-on advisory boards, key personnel
recruitment and financing for our clients. We look for disruptive technologies. Despite
choppy markets, technological growth will continue to make a profound
impact on our lives and the way that we do business. Our sweet spot is
disruptive technologies that can make a profound difference. We have
a group of industry and capital market experts to address
the changes occurring in the economy. Companies that are innovative, quick
and flexible are the ones
that will survive. Crucial to any company is a strong strategic
plan, a compelling vision and funding. At Bawden Capital, we know
that for early-stage companies this represents only part of the
equation; the greatest benefit is derived from added intellectual asset
value. Collective knowledge is the measure of real value. In the
information age of intellectual capital, proprietary knowledge is
essential for success. It is as important as stock price or cash assets.
In the rapidly changing technology world, it’s as good as gold. In
today's highly competitive environment it is not only prudent but
necessary to outsource to leverage top financial expertise while
maintaining low overhead costs leading to savings, which we in turn can
pass directly on to our clients. To
help support and guide our companies, Bawden Capital has gathered an
impressive group of leading-edge advisors and affiliate organizations,
each at the top of their own area of expertise, to help expand, create
and develop our clients’ visions. Our staff, advisors and strategic
partners bring together profound skills enabling them to extract the
greatest value from a company, while rising to the challenge of adding
their own creative involvement and intangible intellectual value. Our
team has been in the trenches and has the hands-on industry knowledge
needed to greatly increase the probability of each company's
success. We believe that although ideas matter people are what
turn a vision into a reality. Bright, energetic, individuals
working together to provide exceptional value to our clients. Our current or former
advisors have senior management or consulting experience at major global
financial firms including; Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter,
Salomon Smith Barney, J.P. Morgan, CS First Boston, Citibank, ING,
Furman Selz, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Lazard Freres,
